Patriot Antenna Systems has been awarded SES AMERICOM'S Ka-band monitoring stations which use Patriot's patented dual skin technology for ultra high RMS surface accuracy thus enabling peak performance at it's Ka band on AMC15/AMC16.  This is performed using Patriot's new Quick Deploy 1.2 meter Flyaway antenna systems.  These Flyaway antennas utilize a 4 port Ka circular tx/rx feed assembly along with 3 Watt BUCs and LNBs to monitor signal strength of the Ka band satellite.  The systems are integrated at Patriot and shipped to key locations across the country at a moments notice using hard bound transport cases.  Patriot's patented dual skin antenna process allows for light weight antenna systems similar to carbon fiber but with the strength and durability needed while holding strict tolerances that are needed for Ka-band applications.  The receive only systems are also comprised of Patriot's 1.2 meter fixed antennas in key locations across the US.  They will continually monitor the downlink transmissions of both SES satellites.    Other News at Patriot
