Patriot Hires New Senior RF Engineer |

Albion, Michigan (July 18, 2006) – Patriot Antenna Systems is pleased to announce the hiring of Dr. Chang Kim as Senior RF Engineer. Dr. Kim will oversee the design of antennas and related RF components. His duties will also include Consulting and advisement on RF components and Type Approval of Earth Station antennas. Dr. Kim’s educational background consists of a BEE degree from Seoul National University in Korea, a Ph.D. from the University of Mississippi, and his M.Sc from the Ohio State University. Dr. Kim has 23 years experience in the satellite industry. He has obtained a number of patents on Antenna Feed with Selectable Relative Polarization and Elliptical Earth Station Antenna Design. Dr. Kim comes to Patriot Antenna Systems from High Gain Antenna Company, where he was a Principal Engineer involved in a wide range of antenna design and testing. Before joining High Gain Antenna Company, Dr. Kim was with military contractors Lockheed Martin and Raytheon, where he was also a Principal Engineer. Dr. Kim started his commercial career with Prodelin Corporation (TriPoint Global). Dr. Kim also served 16 years in the South Korea Air Force where he taught Electrical Engineering at the Air Force Academy for nine years and was responsible for radar maintenance.
