Angeles, California, would like to announce the creation of 1-Advanced
Technologies or 1AT.
1-AT has
started manufacturing a small 6-foot long helicopter system for UAV-unmanned
aerial vehicles for surveillance, homeland security, border patrol,
advance convoy protection, and disaster recovery.
Patriot
Antenna Systems has recently announced 2 new companies that have been
created in an effort to stay diversified and to exploit the growth of
both the alternative energy market as well as the UAV-Unmanned Aerial
Vehicle markets. Patriot Solar Group and 1-Advanced
Technologies, has given Patriot the ability to grow from less than
90 people in 2005 to more than 165 today. This number is expected to
increase 50% by the end of 2006 as each of these companies has
expanded rapidly over the past 12 months. Being involved in the fast
paced alternative energy field has really given our organization the
diversity to grow in a field that is completely different but at the
same time allows us to manufacture a very similar product to our core
antenna production in the Solar Arena. The same is true in 1-Advanced
Technology as we have been able to take a proven product and bring it
into a high production facility which enables us to manufacture a high
volume of these UAV’s in a very controlled and quality-orientated
manner.
Each
Helicopter system is capable of taking real-time broadcast quality
video from as low as 20-feet to beyond 10,000-feet. The system has
night vision and thermal imaging and can be best utilized flying fully
autonomously along the borders, surveillance of pipelines, power lines
and allowing the military or security forces to be able to see over
the next ridge or get into urban areas and see the landscape or where
an enemy might be hiding, all at speeds of up to 75 mph.
